It was December 2018 or so. In those days, Bozeman, Montana had no high-falutin' comedy clubs. Some comics would be in town visiting family, so the locals decided to throw a show in a living room. Made a public event online, complete with home address.

The only stranger who darkened the doorway was Rich Hall. He walked in, bitched about the parking situation, and asked to to some time. Whether you've done comedy for 40 days or 40+ years, the way to work out new standup is to perform it, and he blew the socks off of everyone closer to the 40 day side of the scale

Times have changed: now you can see Rich at a place of business that's dedicated to comedy, and Thomas Blake knows ahead of time that he's going to be on a bill with Rich Hall.
